S&J specializes in turnkey barbed wire projects, meaning we assist you in site prep/clearing, materials specifications and procurement, and project build. Because barbed wire fence is typically an economical approach to larger scale projects, S&J primarily utilizes large diameter treated posts for corner and brace posts, and galvanized or painted steel t-posts for line posts. In certain situations, smaller diameter treated posts will be intermittently mixed in with t-posts.

Regarding choice of wires, S&J recommends the use of 2-point “Gaucho” wire because of the high-tensile and long-lasting galvanization characteristics it exhibits. However, heavier gauge American 2-point can be used if preferred, at the exact same price.
